The main objective of the Punjab Labor Card is that all the workers living in the state of Punjab will not need to visit the offices to get the labor card made. Schemes provided through the Punjab Labor Card
- Cycle Scheme: The cycle scheme was started for the children of workers under the Punjab Labor Card through the Punjab Government. Through this, all the children of laborers who are in 10th and 12th class to study in school will be provided free bicycles by the Punjab Government. Under this, a child of a family will be given a bicycle only once.
- Shagun Yojana: The benefit of Shagun Yojana will be given through the government to provide funds for the marriage of two daughters of a labor family in the form of Shagun of Rs. 31 thousand for the marriage of one daughter. The girl herself will have to be educated throughout the country. Under this scheme, benefits will be given through the Shramik Mazdoor Card Scheme.
- Funeral Assistance Scheme: Through the Government of Punjab, the families of the workers are assisted with the death of any member. So, financial assistance up to ₹20000 is provided to his family for his funeral expenses.
- Stipend Scheme: An amount ranging from ₹ 3000 to ₹ 70000 is provided per year through the government to the children of workers from their first class to get a degree.
